The theme for Week 3, hunger food, and water, is huge. We can't do it justice in one evening, so our intent is to broadly introduce all three topics in a fun way, and then focus in. The main focus will be on food, and the dimensions of food security around the world. To tie it all in to the Trade theme, we'll have guest speakers from LaSiembra Cooperative, an Ottawa based co-op which deals in fair trade cocoa, chocolate, and sugar. They will examine human rights issues related to the cocoa industry, and highlight the potential of fair trade to partially resolve these issues. Come, have fun, and learn something, too!

The activities for the evening will include:

• Food, hunger, and water jeopardy - brush up on your facts.
• The World Resources Game - examine distribution and access to food resources around the world.
• Video and discussion by La Siembra Cooperative
